Interactive Book Release Party - Feb. 8, 2014.
Pastor Mike's book release party was in the Artist's Quarters of the South Side on Lamar lofts. The event was well attended. Pastor Mike signed books, there was live entertainment, good food. Pastor Mike spoke briefly about Freestyle and the thought behind its inception.
Zan Wesley Holmes African Heritage Lecture Series - Feb. 7-9, 2014
Closing out this series, Pastor Mike was the guest preacher for the 8:00 a.m. and the 11:00 a.m. worship services. At 8:00 a.m. Pastor Mike preached from the subject, "Started at the Bottom, Now We're Here?" His message for the 11:00 a.m. hour was "Regulators, Mount Up!"
The Lecture Series was presented by St. Luke "Community" United Methodist Church in Dallas, TX. Rev. Dr. Henry L. Masters, Sr. is Senior Pastor. Rev. Dr. Zan Wesley Holmes is Pastor Emeritus.
