OUR MINISTRIES
Here is an overview of some the ministries at Joy Tabernacle.
Prayer Support Ministry
Each and every morning at 7:00 a.m. members of the Joy Family are welcome to dial in for Joy in the Morning, where we pray for the House, Pastor Mike and the First Family, the ministerial staff and the special needs of our members.
Discipleship Ministries
Joy Tabernacle has several adult ministries which are designed to strengthen the Christian Walk of our members. These discipleship ministries include: Women of Joy, Men of Joy, Covenant Joy for married and engaged couples, and Daughters of Lydia for women of a certain age.
Joy Institute
Joy Institute is dedicated to the spiritual growth and develop of our Church Family. Each Sunday morning at 9:15am we come together to explore the principals and truths found in the Word of God.
Youth Ministries
At Joy Tabernacle, we are serious about the training of our youth. Beginning with cradle we are focused on their spiritual development and nurture. Youth Ministries is divided into four age groups: Bundles of Joy, from birth to age 2; Seeds of Joy, ages 3 -12; Joy G.E.M.S., ages 13-18; and Joy Noyze, ages 19-24, 25-35.
Worship in the Arts
When it comes to praising the Lord, Joy Tabernacle takes Psalm 150 to heart. We praise Him through the arts. Through song, we have our ReJOYce Praise Team and Tabernacle Choir. Through dance, we have Unspeakable Joy, our mime team and Simcha the praise dance team. Using drama/dramatic reading, we have Joy Drama, our theater group, and Joy Ready Writers, our spoken word ministry.
Joy Forward Ministry Outreach
Joy Forward is our ministry outreach. It is where Joy Tabernacle actively goes beyond the walls of the church to make a difference in the South Dallas Community. Joy Forward organizes our Community Closet where - twice a year - clothing, household goods and even school supplies are made available at no cost! We just want to pray for all who come.
